40-Year-Old Kinmount ManDied At Dagmar Ski Resort-News

A 40-year-old Kinmount man was killed early Tuesday morning while working as a snow grooming machine operator at Dagmar Ski Resort, near Uxbridge, about 80 kilometers southwest of Peterborough. Investigation into the death of Wade Hartin is carry on by Training and Skills Development of Ministry of Labour.

Gloria Yip, the spokesperson for the ministry said that their thoughts are with the family and colleagues of the worker who passed away. Hartin had been an employee and part of Dagmar for several years and his wife Emily Johnston-Hartin is expecting their first child in April. Donations can be made through the Mackey Funeral Home at 33 Peel St. in Lindsay or online through a GoFundMe campaign set up by friends to support his wife and baby. The funeral will be held next Tuesday.
