Despite not participating in the final women’s competition in the Czech Republic on Sunday, Japan’s Sara Takanashi won the FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix title for the eighth straight year. Two wins of Sara Takanashi at earlier events in Germany and France were enough to assure the title over Slovenia’s Nika Kriznar, who won her first Grand Prix event Sunday with jumps of 104 and 100.5 meters and matched Takanashi’s overall score of 200.
Slovenia’s Nika Kriznar fall short overall title by just 1 point because Sara Takanashi won two events and it was really close. The next women’s competition will be on 2019-2020 World Cup opener held in early December in Lillehammer, Norway.
