This beautiful place Albstadteris located on the SwabianAb mountains right in the middle of Stuttgart and Lake of Constance. Albstadter, is one of the largest city of Zollemalbkreis in Germany. Albstadter is a famous skiing resort, which provides for a very large skiing area and has a total of 74 km (45.9 miles) of double lanes and 20km (12.4 miles) for expert level skiers. The ski area is located at a height of 750 m (2460 feet) to 925 m (3034 feet).

Ebinger cross-country ski trail is 11 km (6.8 miles) in total with 5 km (3.1 miles) and 6 km (3.7 miles) of a double Out of the 11 km (6.8 miles), 5 km (3.1 miles) trail runs between Mebstetter to Geibuhl. This ski run of Ebinger is best suited for expert level of skiers, who wants to engage them in racing competitions.
Heesberg cross-country ski trails are 12 km (7.4 miles) in total. There are different runs which are also divided in 4 km (2.4 miles), 6 km (3.7 miles) and 10 km (6.2 miles) in different parts of Heesberg. Heesberg also provides for Hiking Park which is located on a high terrain of around 1000 m (3280 feet). This hiking park makes the starting point of many ski slopes.
Ochsenberg-Lerchenfeld covers a total length of 18 km (11.18 miles). It also provides for 3 km (1.86 miles), 5 km (3.10 miles), 6 km (3.72 miles) and 10 km (6.2 miles) cross country ski runs through Albstadt.
Degerfeld-Schlossfelsen covers a total length of 17 km (10.56 miles). The different cross-country ski runs are divided into 8 km (4.9 miles) and 9 km (5.5 miles). You will find a lot of flat areas here with slight ascent and decent.
Raichberg covers a total length of 16 km (9.9 miles). It also provides for 8 km (4.9 miles) and 8 km (4.9 miles) of another skiing trail. The stretches are arranged perfectly with an equal number of ascents and descents to have the extra thrill while skiing. This ski trail is mostly preferred by expert level skiers.

FIS route Schlossberg lift in Tailfingen is of 0.5 0km (0.31 miles) in length, suited basically for medium difficulty
FIS route in Ebingen is of 0.10 km (0.06 miles) in length for expert skiers.
Albstadter provides for seven ski lifts in total. These lifts are located in Ebingen, Lautlingen, Onstmettingen, Pfeffingen, Tailfingen and Truchtelfingen. All these lifts have a length between 200 m (656 feet) to 850 m (2788 feet). Let’s have a look at the different lifts Albstadter has at different places.
Ebingen has the longest ski lift. This ski lift takes tourists to a length of 923 m (3028 feet) after which it again goes to three descents of around 2 km (1.24 miles). Children can make the most of the play area and the children’s lift Ebingen provides for. Floodlight system is provided for better convenience for the tourists during the evening hours.
Ebingen is the only skiing area in Albstadter which provides for both black slopes for expert level skiers along with snowmaking facility. Moreover, Albstadter strictly follows FIS regulations for security reasons.
Tailfingen has the second largest ski area in Albstadter with 1 km (0.62 miles) of slopes all over the resort. The best thing about Tailfingen is, it provides for a family run and an FIS circuit. Tailfingen also provides for a snowpark “Schneestern”, children can the make the most of this snow park, and the floodlight system promises for uninterrupted fun till late in the evening.
You will find snow parks all over Ebingen, Tailingenand Pfeffingen. The snowpark in Pfeffingen is open daily for snowboarding facilities and is maintained by the members of the ski club. But snowpark ‘Schneestern’ in Tailfingenhas train service and also eight-meter kicker, children can make the most of this facility.
Night skiing facility is available almost everywhere in Albstadter. Edingen provides for night skiing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tailfingen provides for night skiing facility from Monday to Friday. Truchtelfingen has night skiing facility on all days of the week. Onstmettingen provides for night skiing facility from Monday to Saturday and last but not the least Lautlingen from Tuesday to Friday.
Albstadter provides two ski schools for beginners. These ski schools are located directly at the lift.
Beginners and children can make the most of it and learn skiing before hitting the ski slopes.

In Onstmettingen you can purchase a ski pass for 6.50 Euros for an adult and 5 Euros for a child for half a day and 11 Euros for an adult and 8 Euros for a child for one day.
