One person killed and rescuers dug out five others who had minor injuries after an avalanche at an Idaho ski resort on Tuesday. Silver Mountain officials said that the avalanche happened about 11 a.m. in the Wardner Peak area which is also rated the most difficult to ski.
The officials of Silver Mountain Resort confirmed the death and injuries in a Facebook post. In the Facebook post, the staff at Silver Mountain extends their deepest sympathies to the family of the individual. Rescue Team is still searching for the people (if any) stuck with the help of rescue dogs.
