The group of four Germans set off on Friday morning from their mountain hut and headed to the Gruenhornluecke pass in the Bernese Alps. Due to severe weather condition, they didn’t arrive at their next destination and search rescue attempt has been made.
Police said that the victims were German skiers and were recovered on Saturday afternoon. The dead bodies of the victims were found at an altitude of more than 9,842ft buried underneath the snow.
According to German media reports, the alarm was raised by their hotel manager when four German failed to check in at their next destination.
