The Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center was established in 1967 as Doe Mountain Ski Area which just had a t-bar, a couple of trails and a rope tow.

About the Place!



As the years moved on, the resort expanded to 23 trails and seven lifts and eventually, in 1999, Doe Mountain changed ownership, and it was converted into an all-time resort facility which later came to be known as The Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center. This resort is sprawled across 330 acres in the picturesque Berks County, Pennsylvania and is a major attraction for local guests as well as visitors from elsewhere.  Taking a break from your monotonous life, you are guaranteed a sublime feel of the heavenly abode amidst the mountains.

The resort offers skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, hiking, biking, boating and an endless array of fun activities. There are 86 skiable acres of land with every trail designed according to the convenience of the skier.

The hours when the ski resort operates is from Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm, on Friday from 9 in the morning to 10 pm, Saturdays and Resort Holidays: 8.30 am – 10 pm. On Sunday, the timings are from 8.30 am to 9 pm and the lifts include one triple chair, three quad chairs, and two carpet lifts. Skiing and Snowboarding
