Beijing's Ski Jumping Venue For 2022 Winter Olympic Games Will Become The World's First Permanent Ski Jumping Course-News

According to the local Shijingshan district Government, The ski jumping venue which is being built for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing will become the world’s first permanent ski jumping course.

 

The China Internet Information Center revealed that the Zhangjiakou ski jumping venue’s main structure and equipment installation will be ready to host test events by the end of 2019. The ski jumping course is about 164 meters long, 60m tall at its peak and measures 34m at its fullest part.  The area of ski jumping will span to 117,481 square meters with 43,364m² of renovation work scheduled and new construction on 74,117m² of land together with the surrounding hotels and a research and development center.
