The resort offers amenities which are included in the fee such as indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, saunas and tennis courts. Blue Knob is the highest skiable mountain peak that is located in Pennsylvania. The resort has had over 80 years of experience in serving guests.

The cost of tickets here depend on the hours spent. The resort consists of 5 lifts servicing 100 acres of skiable terrain, of which 2 are triple chair, 2 are double chair, and one is a surface lift. People aged 12 and under qualify to be in the junior category, seniors are people aged 65 to 69 and super seniors are people aged 70 and above. The tickets one purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable. Multi-day purchase of tickets can avail discounts.
From Sunday to Friday the rates are as follows: five-hour flex at $30, open to close $38, 5 hours junior, senior or military (with valid id) costs $28, open to close for junior, senior and military costs $33. The night skiing tickets for adults cost $25; night skiing for junior senior or military costs $20.
On peak days, weekends or holidays rates are as follows: five- hour flex at $50, open to close $62, 5 hours junior, senior or military (with valid id) costs $42, open to close for junior, senior and military costs $50. The night skiing tickets for adults cost $30 and night skiing for junior, senior or military costs $25. Blue Knob Resort has long runs and steep terrains to offer you the thrill of skiing you desire. The terrain is divided according to each person’s level of skiing. The skiable 100 acres of terrain consisting of 34 trails is divided into 15 % beginner runs, 41 % intermediate runs, 26 % advanced runs, and the remaining 18 % are for those who love to rule the mountains and are experts of skiing. At Blue Knob resort you have a professional guiding you to take up classes which are made fun. The ski hours of school are on weekends 9:00am – 4:00pm and Weekday – 10:00am – 4:00pm. Private lessons on weekdays cost $70 and on weekends cost $90, and an additional in the class costs $30. These lessons last for only an hour, but there are also 2-hour and 3-hour classes available if one wants thorough learning.
Beginner group lessons on weekdays start at 1 pm and cost $30 and on weekends start from 10:30 am and cost $35. These lessons do not include lift tickets and rentals. New generation Academy trains children of age groups 4 to 7 and 8 to 11 to make sure they have concrete basics of the sport. The full session is from 10 am to 4 pm and cost $135, a morning session from 10 am to 12:30 pm cost $80 and afternoon sessions from 1:30 pm to 4 pm cost $80.
For full day sessions the guardian or parent must pick up the child for lunch at 12:30 and lasts for an hour. Reservation can be made two days before the schedule and paid with credit cards. For children of age group 6 to 11, there are other classes on weekdays. The full session is from 10 am to 4 pm and cost $125, a morning session from 10 am to 12:30 pm cost $80 and afternoon sessions from 1:30 pm to 4 pm cost $80.
Blue Knob Ski Patrol, like many other ski resorts, is a non-profit organization which provides emergency response. The primary goal of the Blue Knob Ski Patrol is to provide with education, rescue, emergency medical, mitigation, and search services for all the patrons and guest that visit the resort. The team consists of both volunteer and paid patrollers; the team is a distinguished member of the National Ski Patrol, which serves both the public and outside industry.
The Blue Knob area is known for its long runs and is not a crowded place but has slow lifts with almost 15 minutes of waiting time and poor customer service. The rates of tickets and rentals are quite reasonable. The mountain and skiing are good for the Mid-Atlantic region. Jack Rabbit and Mambo are great long runs that offer diverse terrain and challenge for the beginning level and intermediate level skiers. The rental staff in not knowledgeable of their own gear.
