After being amongst the top 10 ski areas, Bolsterlang Hörnerbahn is definitely a place to check out. It is located about 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) before Oberstdorf. The Iller River Valley offers incredibly blissful panoramic views that no person would like to leave the place. Every view as picturesque as it can get, the skiing facility here is no less. Explore the unwatched on your own. Watch the sun setting and experience the red and oranges getting into your system. Top it up by rewarding yourself with a warm cup of coffee and probably a homemade chocolate brownie at the top of the hill. The season starts early in December till early April. Ski passes start from € 36 for adults, € 28.50 for youth and € 17 for children. For those, who like to keep their vacations a little low key, there’s ice skating, snowboarding, even snow man making services here, al-fresco ice skating for you and your kids. Race down the hill on an inflated tube, hell yes. You could even choose the snow covered ones for some extra hint of adventure.
The elevation goes from 894 meters (2933 feet) to 1665 meters (5462.5 feet) high. Seven ski lifts are available, distributed into one circulating ropeway, two funiculars, two chairlifts and 3platter/button lifts. All of these lifts together carry 8050 passengers in an hour’s time. The length makes 5.2 kilometres (3.2 miles) in total. One six people’s gondola lift. One6 people’s high-speed chairlift with bubble and seat heating. One two people’s fixed-grip chairlift. Two T-bar lifts. One J-bar lift. One rope tow lift.
At Bolsterlang Hörnerbahn, well-developed slopes of 14.8kilometers (9.1 miles) are available, along with additional ski routes of 3.5 kilometres (2.1 miles). The various degrees are fun span between the Bolsterlanger Horn and the Weiherkopf. The run location is under the tree line. 3.5 kilometres (2.17 miles) of ski routes are marked.80% of slopes already having snowmaking capabilities, and 40 snow cannons are available. 45% of the trails are for the beginners. They can practice here and improve their skiing skills step by step. With the gradual increase in steepness, the beginners get enough time and practise to learn the art of skiing and to take 43% of the trails are for the averagely good skiers. Though ski instructors are always of help, people wanting to learn on their own can obviously do so always. The practice people do here is what helps them become a great skier in future. 12% of the trails are for he advanced level skiers. If you are confident, go on and see if you can overcome these steep and completely wild slopes. Apart from practice, these are great to get you the kind of adrenaline rush you must have been craving for. If you are fond of crossing boundaries with skiing, the classic runs here will get you to a higher level. There’s no limit to it since there are six skiing locations in total belonging to this area itself. The act is possible during the night, too due to perfect lighting. It only makes it better under the starry sky or a moonlit snow-covered land.
We know having fun is made here at no extra cost, but with some little out together there’s no harm in excelling the art of skiing. There is a total of 3 ski schools here, namely, ErsteSkischuleBolsterlang, Ski- und Snowboard area Gerhard Spenser and Christian’s Ski- und Snowboardschule. Though the prices may change on off seasons and may vary between different skis schools, coming up is the price list in general. Private hour for 10 – 12 hours costs € 4000 per person & hour and for each additional person € 1000 up to 4 persons. The lunch costs € 7 for the kids and includes food, one drink and lunch. For the cute little ones, there’s a trial lesson of 1 hour in a group of 12. Cross-country courses are available on request. Cross country equipment for five days complete costs € 39.

It is convenient to reach by road since they are well-maintained and run along properly built side roads. Usually, enough parking space is available, it may be free of charge or tarred. The entry is ideal for daytime visitors. Access via B19 Kempten-Sonthofen and exit at the end of 4 lane road expansion. It is 9 kilometres (5.5 miles) far and takes approximately 13 minutes of driving time. Scheduled ski buses provide easy access to the ski resort. The circulation runs every hour between the Hörner lift and the Weltcup-Express Ofterschwang. The FischenimAllgäu train station is approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) away. A bus connects the station to Balderschwang. As to planes, there are three nearby airports to this ski resort. Airport Friedrichshafen is 93 kilometres (57.7 miles) away. Airport Munich is 195 kilometres (121 miles) away. Airport Memmingen is no further 83 kilometres (51.5 miles) away.
