The Bretton Woods pride itself of a 3100 ft. Summit with a base of 1600 ft. and a deadly vertical drop of 1500 ft.  The terrain has a total of 9 runs serviced by ten lifts. The resort consists of 3 terrain parks, 464 acres of skiable area with night skiing of 45 acres and snowmaking covering about 400 acres which are more than 80 % of the skiable terrain. The resort is open for snow fun for 180 days starting in the month of November. The area boasts of 43 years of service with an average snowfall of 200 inches.

The resort is well connected through roads with all the major cities and towns in the region; making it one of the most prominent skiing resorts in the area. The Bretton Woods attracts a large number of tourists every week during the winters, consisting of people who the adventurous side of this snowy season.

Skiing and Snowboarding

 

 

The Bretton Woods has over 460 acres of the skiable terrain of which 25 % are beginner runs, 29 % intermediate run, 30% are advanced runs and 16 % expert runs.  The region’s alpine and Nordic have a different range of skiing experience.  They offer both night and day skiing and hence whenever you feel like tasting those winds and steep slopes you can always go for the run. For night skiing five trails and two lifts are open throughout the winter season.

On the grounds of White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, Mount Washington Resort, and the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is also known as one of the largest and most famous cross country ski areas and has garnered large polls on the ski magazine. The resort provides with state-of-the-art tools so that you can explore the woods with a 100 km trail network crossing fields. The Nordic consists of 45 trails with the center arranging events such as races. The Nordic area also consists of babes in the woods nursery to take care of your child while you are occupied with skiing.

Rentals

 

 

Rentals are for adults aged 13 to 64. The rates depend on the days and quality of the equipment. The sport package rentals for one day cost $45, half day $38; twilight rental cost $35 and night rental $25. The multi-day rentals are charged depending on the number of days. The sport package 2-day rental costs $79, 3-day rental costs $113, 4-day rental costs $147 and 5-day rental costs $181. This package includes skis or snowboards, boots, and poles.

Skis only package for one day cost $30, twilight rental cost $25 and night rental $20. The ski only package 2-day rental costs $55, 3-day rental costs $ 80, 4-day rental costs $105 and 5-day rental costs $130. Hi-performance package for one day cost $ 50 and night rental $49. The hi-performance package 2-day rental costs $92, 3-day rental costs $134, 4-day rental costs $176 and 5-day rental costs $218. The hi-performance ski only package for one day cost $35, and Twilight rental cost $35. The hi-performance ski only package 2-day rental costs $65, 3-day rental costs $95, 4-day rental costs $125 and 5-day rental costs $155.

 


Other rental equipment involves Telemark Skis & Boots starting at the price of $45 for adults, helmets $15, and poles at $10 and full day snowshoes at $13. You can take the skiing or your snowboarding equipment on rent and have fun without having to worry about buying new gear. Remember, you don’t necessarily always need a large amount of money to have fun.

Lift Tickets

 

 

Here is a total of 10 lifts in Bretton Woods of which 4 are high-speed quads, one quad chairs, one double chair, one triple chair and three surface lifts. An adult who is aged from 18 to 64, teen between the ages of 13 to 17, junior from ages 5 to 12 and senior aged 65 to 79 can enjoy the tickets on prices applicable for their respective age group. On full days the ticket charge for an adult is $89, for a teen $68, junior $53 and senior $89.

On half days the ticket charge for an adult is $73, for a teen $58, junior $48 and senior $73. The learning center squad ticket charge for an adult is $18, while for a teen it costs $18, for junior the rate is $18 and for senior citizens it is priced at $18 and the family interchangeable ticket costs $89.

 



On midweek’s a full day ticket charge for an adult is $78, for a teen $58, junior $43 and senior $25. On half days the ticket charge for an adult is $63, for a teen $48, junior $38 and senior $25. The learning squad ticket is free for all ages in midweek sessions. The interchangeable family ticket costs $78. The affordable pricing of the tickets allows people from all background have a really amazing time at the Bretton Woods resort along with their family and friends.

Ski and Snowboard Packages

RED CARPET LEARN TO SKI or BURTON LEARN TO RIDE program starts with a fun introduction to the sport; the package includes ski or snowboard rentals and unlimited access to learning center squad; it costs $85 and is eligible for ages 13 and above.

 



BE A SKIER or BE A RIDER package is for those who have intermediate skills but want better control on those slopes, the package includes rentals, 2 group lessons, and an all-mountain lift ticket. It is eligible for ages 13 and above and costs $149.

INTERMEDIATE SKI OR SNOWBOARD is for those who want to become experts at the sport which includes ski or board rental, along with an intermediate group lesson and an all-mountain ticket. It is eligible for ages 13 and above and costs $139.

Group lessons cost $45 for 1 and a half hour; private lessons cost $110 per hour, and semi-private lessons cost $210 per hour. Reservations are required for any of these packages. Cancellation or changes should be made within 48 hours to get a full refund with a loss of $15 for the processing fee.

The Bretton Woods of the Washington Mountain have very good hospitality to offer with a cozy stay. The rooms have good sound insulation and do protect privacy.
