Resort Details    

The Davos Klosters ski resort is perched at an elevation of 2,034 meters (6673 feet approx) at a vertical drop, 2,844 meters (9330 feet approx) being the highest lift and 810 meters (2657 feet approx) from the base. The resort is open from mid-December to end of March. And ski area is about 260 kilometers (161 miles approx). Davos Klosters have 6 resorts namely - The Jakobshorn, the Parsenn/Gotschna resort, Madrisa, Pischa, Rinerhorn and Schatzalp/Strela. This resort has plenty to offer in terms of sports for everyone like; Early bird in Parsenn, Skiing tester session in Klosters, Find and discover animal tracks in Davos, Fatbike Fun in Pischa, Luging in Rinehorn and so on.  Rinehorn offers skiing for all abilities and also night-sledding for families on Wednesdays. Pischa offers incredible views and special facilities for children to learn and enjoy ski. For Beginners 

A total of 62 kilometers (approx 38 miles) of slopes and runs are allotted to amateur level skiers. Beginners are allotted flat slopes for skiing that lead through larch woods, they can get an introduction to skiing on the three people movers. These flat slopes help beginners to learn the sport at an ease. Beginners can ski on slopes that are easy from the Jakobshorn to the base.

For Families & Children

Children have an amazing opportunity at Davos-Klosters, as there is separate are for children to
enjoy. Special facilities are available for children like child care, playground park, ski school for children, wave run for children, children’s lift, and snow kindergarten. These facilities allow families to spend quality time alone by leaving children’s here.

For advanced level

A total of 64 kilometers (approx 39 miles) of steep slopes area offered for advanced and free-riders. There are many mountain areas and snow covered areas that can be explored by advanced level riders. Cross country skiing season opens every year in December and is enjoyed by the skiers and snowboarders. Total trail length of about 142 kilometers (approx 88 miles) is offered for cross country skiing. Trails surrounding Davos Klosters are attractive and snow reliable. About 50 kilometers ( approx 31 miles) of the trail is available for freeriding. 

Learn to ski

Wanna ski? And you don’t know how to ski. So don’t worry friends, Davos Klosters conducts Special lessons for those who want to learn ski. Whether you’re a beginner, Intermediate or an expert they have something for everyone to learn. Instructors at ski school motivate you and it’s fun to learn sports from them. Price for one day course costs $74 approx (69 Euro approx). Special courses are available for children below 4 years at snow garden with parents involvement as well. Courses such as Beginner lessons for adults, teenagers classes for 14 years and above are also available. The ski school at Davos Klosters arranges advanced classes day trip where you can experience beauty as well as learn to ski and snowboarding.

Ski Lifts

Ski lifts are an important part of the ski resort as these will help you to move through slopes smoothly and efficiently. Davos Klosters has 6 snow ski resorts namely - The Jakobshorn, the Parsenn/Gotschna resort, Madrisa, Rinerhorn, Pischa and Schatzalp/Strela. Here there are a variety of choices available for you with the total of 57 transport systems available. It has 50 ski lifts available for passengers with a capacity of carrying 64,421 riders per hour. 8 cable cars, 2 Funicular, 4 gandola lift, 10 chair lifts and 26 surface lifts. These lifts help to ease out traffic in the ski resort. On weekdays tickets cost approx $27 for children, Junior (age 13-17) $36 approx and for adults (18+) $69 approx. Tickets price vary according to days and age groups. Like on weekdays and weekends prices are different.
