The Forsteralm Mountain has a 3536 ft summit with a base of 2362 ft and a drop of 1174 ft. They have a total of 8 lifts of which remaining 1 is quad chairs and remaining 7 are surface lifts. Snowmaking covers 15 acres of land of the whole area in the case of absence of natural snow. There is a total 16 km of trails in Forsteralm Mountain. All of them almost equally divided on the basis of the level of comfort in skiing. The resort opens in December and is open for 110 days in the season. It has been open for 36 years.

The Forsteralm Mountain Ski Area has 36 km of trails which are 56% are for intermediate runs, 33% for advanced runs and 11% are expert runs. Lessons are also provided who need a good learning experience, especially for beginners. Wonderfully groomed slopes and runs at Forsteralm Mountain cater to all levels of expertise and guarantees optimum skiing pleasure for the whole family. There are also three ski huts which also provide much-needed refreshments and a great atmosphere for the skiers on the gear providing them a great diversion.

The Forsteralm Mountain consists of many varied and diverse slopes for riders of all levels with a total of 36 km. These are divided into 10 km runs for beginners which one track, 4 km runs for the medium difficulty which is one track, 2 km runs for challenging level riders which are one track and free rides and routes are not available on this mountain. The whole terrain serviced by almost eight different lifts in different regions. If you lack the equipment or need them fixed or optimized, then they the resort offers latest rentals according to your requirements.

 

Season Pass

At Forsteralm Mountain the season passes prevail for the whole season so make sure you do justice to it. There are many reductions like the youth, the elderly and family reductions on these passes. The price of passes for one day is €28 for adult, €14 for children, €20 for youth and €24 for seniors. The price of passes for three days is €72 for adult, €36 for children, €51 for youth and €61 for seniors. The price of passes for four days is €95 for adult, €48 for children, €68 for youth and €82 for seniors. The cost of passes for six days is €135 for adult, €67 for children, €96 for young people and €115 for seniors.

 

The price of passes on an hourly basis for 2 hours is €18 for adult, €9 for children, €12 for youth and €15 for seniors.  The price on an hourly basis for 3 hours is €22 for adult, €11 for children, €15 for young people and €18 for the elderly.  The price on an hourly basis for 4 hours is €24 for adult, €12 for children, €18 for young people and €21 for the elderly.

 

 

 

Lift Tickets

The Forsteralm Mountain Resort has a skiable terrain which is serviced by a total of 18 lifts of which 1 is a quad chair and remaining 7 are a surface lift. Adults are aged 18 to 64, youth are aged 6 to 13, and students aged 14 to 25 with valid ID and seniors 65 and older. For children ages 5 and below the lift rides are free.

 

The daily hour tickets for 2 hours for an adult cost €18, €9 for children, €12 for youth and €15 for seniors. The daily hour tickets for 3 hours for an adult cost €22, €11 for children, €15 for young people and €18 for the elderly. The daily hour tickets for 4 hours for an adult cost €24, €12 for children, €18 for young people and €21 for the elderly.

 

Multi-day tickets are also available at the resort; a three-day ticket costs €72 for an adult, €36 for children, and €51 for youth and €61 for seniors. A 4-day ticket costs €95 for adult, €48 for children, €68 for young people and €82 for the elderly. A 6-day ticket costs €135 for adult, €67 for children, €96 for youth and €115 for seniors. Family season tickets cost €390 for pre-sales and €490 on regular days. If in the family tickets only one of the two adult cards is required that is one parent plus all children this is also possible, but there will be no further price reduction.

 

You can also avail the special school rates for those traveling in groups. For a full day the ticket costs €10 per student, a half day ticket costs €7 per student, and a four-day card ticket costs €36per student. These rates apply to those schools with a closed group of students which are on a trip of one or more days of skiing during a school event complete. For each of these group rates two teachers are allowed per group.

 

 

The whole terrain is well groomed and well suited for riders of all skiing levels here at the Forsteralm Mountain. Despite the average costs, the stay and dining are reviewed to be straightforward and efficient.
