Ikon Pass Includes New Ski Destination In Switzerland-News

If you bought an Ikon Pass then there’s a new destination included which is in the Matterhorn in Switzerland. It’s the first-ever European destination for the ski pass. The Matterhorn spans in both Switzerland and Italy. It is the highest skiable terrain in the Alps. The access to Matterhorn is seven days to Zermatt.  The Matterhorn network with no blackout dates and five-day access on the Ikon Base Pass with no blackout dates.


Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer for Alterra Mountain Company said in a statement that “the Matterhorn is a true icon well-known around the world. We are excited that Zermatt joins the Ikon Pass community. Ikon Pass makes best efforts to offer pass holders unique experiences in the mountains. Now pass holders can experience Zermatt’s glacier skiing, traditional Swiss fondue, plus it’s infamous European après ski across two countries, just on one pass.”
