It also offers for ski slopes which are suited for all difficulty levels, i.e. right from the beginner to expert level skiers and snowboarders. Moreover, Matthias-Schmidt-Berg provides for snow cannons which have 30% of snowmaking capacity. Let’s have a look at the different ski slopes Matthias-Schmidt-Berg has made available to the guests. For Beginners: Out of the 3.6 km (2.23 miles) of ski slopes available, 1.2 km (0.74 miles) is dedicated to the beginners. That is around 33% of the ski slopes are for the beginners. Beginners can make the most of this facility and also use the flatter slopes in the tow area. For intermediaries: Out of the 3.6km (2.23 miles) of slopes made available, 0.6 km (0.37 miles) are made available to the intermediate level skiers. Since they already know the basics of skiing and, this stretch is can be best suitable for them. For Experts: Out of the 3.6 km (2.23 miles), 1.8km (1.11 miles) of ski slopes is made available for professional skiers and snowboarders. Almost 50% of the total ski slopes is dedicated for professional skiers. Ski lifts

 

 

Matthias-Schmidt-Berg has provided for four ski lifts in total, which can carry 400 passengers per hour. The lifts are 1.6km (0.99 miles) of length in total. Let’s have a look at the different types of lifts here.
Chair Lift: There are two chair lifts made available to the guests. These chairlifts have a fixed clamp, which can carry two persons per trip. The different chair lifts are:
Double chair lift 1: This Chair lift has a total length of 400m (1312 feet) and can carry 1000 persons per hour.
Double chair lift 2: This Chair lift has a total length of 450m (1476 feet) and can carry 1000 persons per hour.
Drag lift/ Plate lift: there are two towing lifts made available to the guests.
Towing 1: This is a drag lift with a total length of 400m (1312 feet) and has a carrying capacity of 1000 guests per hour.
Towing 2: This is a drag lift with a total length of 300m (984 feet) and has a carrying capacity of 1000 guests per hour.

Night Skiing

Matthias-Schmidt-Berg also provides for night skiing facilities which are made open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 21: 00 hours. Guests can make use of this facility along with the floodlights and make the most of the holiday season. There are two lifts provided for night skiing facilities. Let’s have a look at them.
