Ski Arlberg: The Cradle of Alpine Skiing

The St. Anton am Arlberg Holiday Region comprises of different regions: namely St. Anton, St. Christoph, St. Jakob, Pettneu, Schumann, Flirsch, and Strengen.

The Ski Area:

The Arlberg ski resort encompasses approximately 50 km² or 5000 hectares(including the off-run areas) and extends over 1,500 meters or  4921 miles of altitude.

More than 305 km of perfectly groomed slopes covered with powder snow await your arrival.

Skiers here are spoilt for choice. They can go for 200 kilometers or 1242 miles of powder stashes and corn snow slopes. The longest downhill run here is 8.5 kilometers, that is 5.2 miles, long and has a vertical drop of 1350 meters or 4429 feet.

Arlberg is the largest interconnected skiing area that can be found in entire Austria. It is also one of the five largest ski areas all over the world. It no doubts a class apart in terms of ski pleasure and uniqueness.

The Stanton Park:

 

The Stanton Park has managed to create a niche for itself in the hearts of winter sports enthusiasts in the past few years. It is perfect for those who want to enjoy the best of both worlds: endless powder runs as well as a masterly shaped setup.
