Everywhere you go, there is joy in the air. Families start posing for their postcards; friends plan for trips and surprises. Christmas is just around the corner blessed with the goodness of inches thick snow. This time of the year is most awaited by people regardless of age.

Stowe Mountain in Stowe Vermont is one of the most traditionally known places for hospitality and adventure. The Mountain makes for a perfect trip in winter with family or friends. The Mountain is located in the northeastern United States comprising two separate Mountains, Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak. It is ranked number 1 skiing resort in northeastern U.S by SKI Magazine and Skiing Magazine.

The Mountain is known for the luxury Eastern resort, providing quality skiing and riding for all levels of family abilities.  The Mountain has evolved over time and improvements include a brand new High-Speed Quad, RFID technology tickets and gate an inter-mountain transfer gondola connecting Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak. The Mountain Lodge consists of 312 rooms which are recognized to be one of the greenest and most luxurious Mountainside lodging. The lodge consists of room hotel and spa. Located close to a number of major cities and towns, the Stowe Mountain Resort receives a large number of visitors every year during the winters.

The Stowe Mountain is blessed by Mother Nature with an annual snowfall of 314 inches. The Terrain comprises a total of 115 runs serviced by 13 lifts in total. The Resort prides itself of a grand 4395 ft. summit with a base of 2035 ft. and a vertical drop of 2360 ft. There are 485 acres of skiable Terrain with snowmaking covering up about 388 acres just in case there is low snowfall. The resort is open for about 150 days annually starting from November. It has serviced customers and riders for a total of 83 years. There is an availability of Rentals and Lessons but no night skiing.

Skiing


At Mount Stowe Mountain there is a total of 115 trails of which 19 are easy level, 68 trails are of an intermediate level and 29 advanced trails designed for experts. There are 6glades and 3 Terrain Parks. The highest Mountain is at Mount Mansfield. The longest run of the Mountain is about 4 miles long. Regardless of their skill level, everyone can have an awesome time skiing at the Stowe Mountain Resort as there are trails for every level of skiing enthusiasts.

Rentals for Skiing and Snowboarding

The rentals here at the Mountain come handy at a reasonable price. There are privileges like Tech support, free overnight storage with multi-day rentals, Burton and Rossignol equipment for beginners, very latest equipment and friendly & knowledgeable staff. For ski and snowboard packages the rentals cost $ 54 for Adult (ages 13 and above) and $ 44 for the child (up to 12 years age). The helmet rentals are charged at $ 17 for both adult and child. Parent or guardian must sign equipment rental agreement and repair work ticket for minors. Credit card deposit required and all these equipment are non-refundable.

Lift Tickets


The Stowe comprises a total of 13 lifts of which 2 are surface lifts, four double lifts, two triple, three quad lifts, three high-speed quads and two connecting Gondola lifts. The hourly uphill capacity is 15,516 passengers. The lift ticket charges depend on the season in which you take the pass. Children aged 5 and under ski or ride free when accompanied by a paid parent or guardian. All Three, Four and Five Day tickets receive a flex day!

Adults (ages 13-64) are charged for a single day $ 124 in a regular season and $ 92 for online order, $ 90 for late season and $ 72 for online ordering in a late season. For an additional day $ 124 in a regular season and $ 92 for online order, $ 90 for late season and $ 72 for online ordering in a late season, for afternoon tickets (12:30 pm to 4 pm) it costs $ 92  in a regular season and $ 92 for online order. The same rates apply for Sunday 7:30 am to 12 noon.

Child (ages 6- 12) are charged for a single day $ 104 in a regular season and $ 72 for online order, $ 80 for late season and $ 62 for online ordering in a late season. For additional day $ 104 in a regular season and $ 72 for online order, $ 80 for late season and $ 62 for online ordering in a late season, on Sundays from 7:30 am to 12 noon and afternoon tickets (12:30 pm to 4 pm) both cost $ 72.

Seniors aged 65, and above are charged for a single day $ 114 in a regular season and $ 82 for online order, $ 90 for late season and $ 72 for online ordering in a late season. For an additional day, it costs $ 114 in a regular season and $ 82 for online order, $ 90 for late season and $ 72 for online ordering in a late season. On the Sundays, from 7:30 am in the morning to 12 noon and afternoon tickets (12:30 pm to 4 pm) both cost $ 82.

Season Pass


Season Passes are valid for the entire season whichever it may be. Make sure that you take these passes to do justice to them by maximum participation. A regular season Stowe Bypass for an Adult costs $ 92, for a child costs $ 72, and a senior costs $82. A late/early Stowe Bypass for an Adult costs $ 72, for a child costs $ 62 and for a senior costs $72.

Ice-Skating

Ice-skating is preferably one of the most fun sports for couples and teens. Right outside the Spruce Camp base lodge you can find an ice rink at Spruce Peak village center. It adds a perfect complement to your adventurous and fun-filled stay.

Racing

Racing is for people of all levels, on this Mountain. Safety measures are taken care and are properly designed to avoid any possible accidents. Competition Hill is for expert race advice and all the training or a fun group outing. You can reserve space for your private group or hop in a clinic and take your racing to the next level.

Mountain Tours

Fulfill your exploration taste buds with the guided Mountain tours around the woods. Tours meet and begin at 10:30 am weekends and holidays outside of the Spruce Camp Base Lodge. The host guided experience will leave you thorough with the place and will discover new scenic places.

Lessons


The experienced staff at the mountain offer lessons to various levels of skiers. For more than 80 years now, the professionals of the Stowe Ski & Snowboard School have inspired passion in skiers and trained riders of all ages and abilities. There are various programs such as full-day programs for kids, Teen programs, Lift and lesson packages for adults, Private lessons and Cross country lessons.

There are over 300 instructors to help you out with learning the basics of skiing and polishing your skills a bit further if you’re a professional. Instructors here are known to make lasting connections beyond the ski experience. A more personal and efficient way to teach learning.
