Aspen Mountain shut down its operation bringing their ski season to a close on Sunday. It was the strongest season in a decade, said Aspen Skiing Company. Aspen Mountain recorded 300 inches of snow over 81 days and while it didn’t break records. The storm has brought consistent powder to the mountains and looks beautiful.

March alone saw 63 inches of snow which is the second snowiest on record. The month brought even more visitors than the FIS World Cup, implicating that it’s not just locals enjoying the snow.

Local skier droves over the season and SkiCo logged more than 20,000 skier days from local pass holders, all thanks to good snow. The introduction of the Ikon Pass also brought new skiers to the four mountains.
