Third Death Over Weekend In Lake Tahoe Area-News

An
employee of a ski resort on
the California-Nevada border and become the third person to die
in snow-related accidents in the Lake Tahoe area over the
weekend. He died on Saturday after found unconscious in the Mott Canyon area of
the Heavenly Ski Resort. It
was announced on Monday that 36-year-old Christopher John Nicholson
of South Lake Tahoe, Calif. was airlifted to Carson Valley Medical Center
after he was found unconscious. He was pronounced dead at Medical Center.
Resort Officials said that Nicholson was on an expert trail when a “serious
incident” took place. The cause of death is carried on by the Douglas County
Sheriff’s Office and Washoe County Coroner’s Office.
