The White Pine Ski Area is located at a distance of 10 miles from the city of Pinedale in the Wyoming district of the United States. It comes under the Sublette County. The White Pine Ski area is located in the Wind River Range. The Wind River Range is quite famous for the various recreational activities it provides. Some of them include downhill skiing and also cross-country skiing. The Resort has an appealing design and is amongst the most famous resorts in the area. It is a famous tourist spot because of its beautiful structure and helpful staff.

The White Land Ski Area was originally known as Surveyor Park Ski Area. It was first opened on January 5, 1940, for skiers. The present current version of the White Pine Ski Resort was built in 1999. It is a famous destination for skiing and snowboarding activities.

The White Land Ski Area extends various cabins at reasonable prices. There are cabins available for four and six people. These cabins are spacious, fully furnished and well equipped. The halls and rooms are impressive with beautifully decorated antiques on display. Also, on special occasions, fun-filled parties are celebrated with its guests and locals.

The White Pine Ski Area provides an experience like never before. The regular season of the White Pine Ski Area is usually between Thanksgiving and Easter. The Top Elevation is 9,500 feet or 2,896 meter and the Base elevation is 8,450 feet or 2,576 meters. The resort has a ski shop which both rents and sells ski and snowboarding equipment. The White Pine Ski Area has two types of lifts, one is quad lift and another is a tow rope. The quad lifts are three in number. People can enjoy the scene of the mountains from atop while traveling through the lifts. There is a total of 25 runs or ski slopes of which 25% are of beginner level, 45% are intermediate of level and 30% of the trails are of advanced level. It is equivalent to 35K of looping Nordic ski trails for every skill level. The lifts services offer a panoramic view of the surrounding areas like the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Continental Divide, Wind River Mountains, Fremont Lake, as well as the Wyoming Mountain Range. Certain recreational activities like Nordic and downhill skiing, horseback adventures, camping, snowboarding, cross country mountain biking, downhill mountain biking, hiking, scenic chairlift rides, and fishing can be enjoyed in the White Pine Ski Area. In addition to these recreational activities White Pine Ski Area also hosts special events for occasions like birthday parties, wedding parties, company parties and retirement parties. There are facilities like rental shop, tent village, cabin accommodations, meeting rooms, bar, grill and a fully staffed lodge.

Several items like boots, downhill skis, cross-country skis helmets, poles and snowshoes are available for rent at the ski shop. In addition to the skiing gear, we also provide free advice. We have a Retail section too that provides hats, goggles, gloves, ski waxes, mittens, gloves, lip balms, sunscreen, lip balm etc. There is also a facility for tuning the snowboards and skis. This ski shop is open throughout the skiing season.

To provide the real mountain experience to the visitors, we have built rustic cabins to provide an earthy and natural feel. The lifts are at walking distance from the cabins. The cabins have cozy fireplaces to keep you warm. You can book the cabin as per your requirement. We have cabins with usually two bedrooms having one king size or queen size bed and one with a queen size or two twin beds. The rooms have attached bathrooms, one with jetted tub and with showers. A small furnished kitchen with appliances is also provided. A sofa bed is also provided on which two people can easily accommodate. A deck for walking around is also there and a washer/dryer is provided too. The living room has a fireplace to keep the visitors warm and cozy. A barbecue is also provided on the deck for the evenings.
