Whitefish Mountain Resort is an extremely popular ski resort in the USA and the skiing population grows faster than ever. The ski resort has sold more than 10,000 passes for the 2018-19 season which is a new record, an 11 percent ahead of last winter.

Whitefish Mountain Resort on Tuesday made few changes to its pass rate for 2019-2020 winter season. An adult season which cost $660 in the previous year will cost $675 through Sept 30. It’s an increase of $15 over the 2018-19 season prices. Senior citizens age between 65-69 and college student passes price is $575. The costs of teen passes are $370 and junior passes are $195. Children who are 6 and under 6 can ski for free.

For super seniors who are over 70 will have to pay $135 for a winter pass which was free in the previous year. Resort CEO Dan Graves gives the explanation that over 70 skiers are skiing more than ever and new demands on resort infrastructure will be there. This decision seems to make many skiers unhappy as the rates for the season pass is getting high.

The ski area of Whitefish Mountain Resort is scheduled to open on Dec. 6, 2019 through April 5, 2020.
