Winter Park Express Ski Train Expanding Its Service-News

Amtrak is going to resume the Winter Park Express ski train service from Denver’s Union Station in January.  The train service will be expanded and to include all Fridays as well as Saturdays and Sundays. Last year, the service only includes 2 Friday and all Saturday and Sunday in a month but this year they are going to include all Friday too.

The Winter Park Express ski train will run Friday through Sunday every weekend from Jan. 10 to March 29 this year. Fares start at $29 each way for adults and each ticketed adult can bring a child, age 2-12, for half the adult fare. Trains will depart from Denver at 7 a.m. and arrive around 9 a.m. They can leave Winter Park at 4:30 p.m. and arrive back at Union Station at 6:40 p.m. January may seem a long way off but you can book your tickets now at Amtrak.com/WinterParkExpress. Make plans in advance and enjoy your trip.
